I saw this old and dejected man sleeping in an abandoned bus stop. It’s no longer a bus stop. It’s his home. I tried to put myself in his situation. No hope, nobody to care, just living for the day, not knowing if tomorrow is the day that he’s going to get ill and starve to death. Felt really sorry for him. He’s fucked up on the pavement when he’s supposed to be spending his retirement with his kids. This could be me in another 30 -40 years’ time, if I’m really unlucky. This should be karma. I don’t find any reason other than Karma for a situation like this. This world is basically full of suffering. It’s been like this for centuries. I doubt that the amount of suffering in this word has reduced with the advance of technology. It simply transform in to another form.
