Thursday’s Ride from FlatLand to Madison Alabama

Thursday’s Ride from FlatLand to Madison Alabama
I had a great ride from FlatLand up to Madison Alabama yesterday.

It was 70 degrees f. when I rolled out of the garage and the rain had just stopped a few minutes before I left.

The temp dropped to 57 at the Georgia line and dropped to 50 by Columbus Georgia.

The temp hit 45 as I passed through Birmingham Alabama and it was down to 40 by Cullman Alabama and held at 40 all the way to Madison.

I stopped a few time along the route to add layers of clothing and finally to climb into my Heated Gerbing Jacket Liner between Columbus Georgia and Montgomery Alabama.

I arrived in Madison 675 miles and 10 hours after I left.

A few good friends met us for dinner at a fine little Cajun restaurant, and then we went to the Monthly Redstone Riders meeting.

It's going to be 26 degrees f. tomorrow morning for the ride to Eldridge Alabama for the Children's Home Event, so I doubt there will be many Redstone Riders there.

Later
