I was a visitor at the home where this cat lives. We all know that some cats are shy, while others are very sociable. This kitty, an amiable sort, loves to be around people who are conversing. His owner and I had not seen each other in quite awhile, so we gabbed late into the night during my visit. The cat sat by his owner's side the whole while, as if not wanting to miss anything we were saying. For most of the evening he was alert and seemed to be listening intently to us. Eventually we simply outlasted him. He could no longer keep his eyes open.
