Worlds Longest Insect


This is The world's longest insect. It is 56.7cm-long stick-insect from Borneo. Scientific name is Phobaeticus chani. It was recently discovered and only 3 specimens found. Its known to dwell on top canopy of the rainforest. Apart from having a long body its eggs has wing shaped formation helping it to float down when the female release the egg.
