This past weekends riding reveled that the Love Bugs have returned in force to FlatLand.
The windscreen and all forward surfaces of the GL1800 were covered with Love Bugs after Saturday & Sunday's rides and required attention so as to not damage the paint as well as the windscreen.
I have been using a %5 solution of Peroxide in a spray bottle to liberate the bug residue without scratching the bike or taking a half-hour to complete.
It was amusing riding this weekend and watch those rides without windscreens trying to keep the bugs of their faces, I learned a long time ago that the windscreen is a necessary accessory, and this is just one more reason to use one.
